Let's see how to create an AR Tag experience step by step.

How to create your own Tag

The AR-Tags you create are listed on the Tags page. You can access this page by clicking the icon in the left panel.

To view, move, rename, or delete a Tag, hover over the thumbnail and click the three dots 1 to open the menu.

You can filter the list by typing a name here 2.

To add a new tag, click 3 next to the section title or at the top right 4.

Target

Once you click , you can select or drag an image from your files into the newly opened window 1.

This image acts as the Target 1.

You can add multiple Targets.

Supported formats are JPG, PNG, WEBP.

Targets can be added one at a time; you can add more by clicking the Add Target button 2.

To delete a Target, click the 3 icon in its panel.

In some situations, it may be useful to "cover" the physical target with its digital image. To do this, activate "Show in AR" 4.

The 5 button resets the initial camera view.

Each Target has its own Tags.

Tags

To add a Tag, go to the Tags section 1 and click Create your first Tag 2.

Types of Tag

The available Tag types are:

  • Text/Link 1
  • Image/Video 2
  • 3D Model 3

If you have already added a Tag, you can click Add Tag 4 to add more.

Tags List Page

The Text/Link Tag 1 allows you to provide textual information and insert a link to an external website. You can define position, title, description, an external link, and a link to a 3D model previously added in the Products section within My AR Studio.

The Image/Video Tag 2 allows you to insert images and videos in Jpg, Png, Mp4 format. You can set position, scale, rotation, title, and content source.

The 3D Model Tag 3 allows you to insert the link to a 3D model inside My AR Studio. You can adjust position, scale, rotation, title, and insert a link to the product.

To save the project, go to the Exports section 1 and click the Save button at the bottom 2.

Export

Once the project is saved, a unique QR code 3 will be generated. By scanning it with your smartphone camera, you can access your AR Tag experience.

From the Exports section, you can assign a name to your project 4 and export it in different ways:
